On October 29, 2024, Chhader Chhobi brought a special curation titled “Selected Shorts by the Maestros: Series 1” as part of its eighth episode. This unique session showcased short films by some of the world’s most renowned filmmakers, including Nuri Bilge Ceylan, Tsai Ming Liang, Roy Andersson, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Abbas Kiarostami, Ritwik Ghatak, and Pedro Costa, among others.
The event was a delightful exploration of cinematic artistry, offering thought-provoking narratives and creative styles. The rooftop transformed into a haven for cinephiles eager to experience these masterpieces and engage in meaningful discussions.
With an expanded seating capacity of 35 participants, this session provided a platform to celebrate unconventional cinema that sparks dialogue and reflection rather than catering to mainstream tastes.
