On November 5, 2024, Chhader Chhobi presented its ninth episode, delving into the rich and multifaceted cinematic landscape of the Middle East. With its intricate interplay of politics, culture, and religion, the Middle East has long been a cradle of compelling storytelling. This session showcased a curated selection of classic and contemporary short films that highlight the region’s unique perspectives and artistic brilliance.
By expanding our seating capacity to 35 participants, we aimed to create an inclusive space for more cinephiles to engage with these thought-provoking narratives.
The essence of Chhader Chhobi remains rooted in presenting films that challenge conventional norms and inspire dialogue, moving beyond mainstream preferences.
