About the Workshop:
“Shobdo-Goppo-Chhobi” is a curated writing and film project incubation workshop designed to help participants draw stories, scripts, or project blueprints from their subconscious mind. Since its inception during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, the workshop has held 11 sessions where 109 pieces of writing, painting, photography, and moving images were developed by 49 participants. Several of these ideas have grown into complete film projects and screenplays. Notably, the film project “Tulshimala” went on to participate in the Busan Asian Film School’s seven-month fellowship and the Produire au Sud Workshop of Festival des 3 Continents in France.
Curator and Instructor:
Fazle Hasan Shishir – Independent film producer, teacher, and curator. He has been designing and conducting this workshop for the past five years.
